ST. LOUIS, MO — Today, National Nurses United (NNU), the largest union of registered nurses in the United States, announced its endorsement of Congresswoman Cori Bush for re-election in Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.

While in office, Bush fought for patients and health care workers alike by being one of the strongest advocates for Medicare for All and protecting the rights of workers to organize. Now, as she campaigns to win her seat back, NNU has endorsed the Congresswoman for a second time so she can continue her work to fix our broken health care system and build one that puts people over profit.

Far too many people are left behind and forced to choose between suffering the financial burden that comes with receiving care or skipping treatments altogether because the costs are too high. In Congress, I’ll partner with NNU to ensure that our health care system works for everyone — patients and health care workers alike.”
